What once began in 1912 as a small workshop for surgical mechanics in Marburg, Hesse, has since become one of the leading companies in the specialist medical supply trade in Hesse and Germany. Since its foundation over 111 years ago, the company has grown steadily and today acts as the parent company of the KAPHINGST group of companies. With more than 25 branches spread throughout Hesse, numerous product-specific online shops and a large logistics centre in Lahntal near Marburg, the group supplies its customers not only throughout Germany, but also far beyond the state's borders. In addition to the traditional medical supply shop business, the business divisions also include rehabilitation technology, orthopaedic technology, orthopaedic footwear technology, medical technology and numerous other health and fitness products. The template function enables the automatic filling of documents with employee information, ideal for standardised documents such as employment contracts. The digital signature function makes it easier to collect signatures digitally from both current employees (Smart Docs) and potential employees (Recruiting).
Recruiting
Kenjo's applicant management software facilitates the entire recruiting process. From customised job advertisements to viewing CVs and onboarding, it offers efficient solutions. The software enables objective assessments through scorecards, automated data management and user-friendly candidate communication. With features such as the Kenjo browser extension for social networks and publishing on various platforms, it offers a comprehensive, intuitive solution for successful applicant management.
Results
By implementing Kenjo, the KAPHINGST Group has achieved significant results. Employees and the management team now have an improved and customised overview at the touch of a button, without having to rely on HR feedback. Connecting the payroll office to Kenjo has made data transfer for payroll much easier and drastically reduced the daily email transfer between HR and the management team. With standardised authorisations, everyone always has access to up-to-date information, which is particularly beneficial in recruiting. In addition, the centralisation in Kenjo has allowed some tasks to be efficiently shifted back to HR, for example through the automated maintenance of sickness and holiday cards.
